Polytechnic School of Engineering
The Polytechniki Engineering School is part of the University of Cyprus competition which has been won by three architectural offices from two countries that have teamed up. The architects are C.E.Chrysanthou & Associates , Iraklis Papachristou Architects and A.M. Kotsiopoulos and Partners Architects.
The project involves the amalgamation of the three engineering schools at the University of Cyprus which have been translated into three volumes that rise from a common plinth, the void between them forming the ‘climo’ (climatic modifier), an open forum for student and visitor with a strong reference to the landscape beyond.
