Noise control is the means of reducing sound emissions, often induced by personal comfort, environmental considerations or legal compliance.
Practical and efficient noise control depends on what is causing the noise, i.e. what is the noise source. Once the source of noise has been identified, the focus is then on reducing the noise at source by engineering means. Such methods could include Noise Barriers, Silencers and Enclosures. Below are some examples of such projects that Panacoustics have undertaken.
